MTO Hand-welt with upgrades on Online Store Goodyear Welt offerings with additional customization, Hand-lasted, Hand-welt with 10 stitches per inch machine outsole stitch, leather toe puffs, and stiffener. A final quote is to be given via email confirmation, there will be no returns as it's customizable. Shoes/Boots have a lead time of 6-8 weeks (limited to 3 pairs per month). Last adjustments on special request.
HANDMADE SERVICE BOOTS (+$75USD)
MTO Hand-welt Service Boot with upgrades on Online Store Goodyear Welt offerings with additional customization, Hand-lasted, Hand-welt and Hand Stitched Outsole with 8 stitches per inch, leather toe puffs, and stiffener. Select a Last from our Last collection.
The last adjustments can only be done for Hand-welt Service Boot Collection only.
Step Three: Materials
Choose your leather from a list of Sample Photos. Don't see a leather you like or have a special request? Send us a picture from social media or simply indicate the leather's name and color. Please note there may be a surcharge incurred for leather requests that are not in our workshop.
Calf Skin
All our calf skins are exclusively sourced using ILCEA TANNERY, ITALY. From natural crust calf which we use to make any color or patina possible, to black box calf for that classic formal dress shoes to Ilcea's s world-famous Museum Calf Collection.

Shinki Hikaku Shell Cordovan
Shell Cordovan is the King of leather and is produced from horse rump ( buttocks ), the leather fibers are uniquely intertwined, and its layers are drawn out, finished with only the dye, oil, and gloss agent that is as close to a basic finish as possible.
Shell Cordovan is a beautiful leather that keeps its natural texture. Only the finest selected leathers of this rare cordovan are made with 100% mimosa tannins and traditionally and carefully tanned from Shinki leather.
Maryam Horserump
Horserump TPR Vegetable Tanned Leather comes from the Maryam Tannery in Tuscany, Italy. The Maryam tannery, heir to centuries-old experience and knowledge, still performs with care and passion the slow process that takes raw hides to become leather, in total respect for nature. the tanning processes involve natural tannins from the trees, new technologies, and the slow passage of time.
Horserump has an aniline finish showing off its natural grain and beauty meaning it will patina. One of the unique aspects of this horserump is the honeycomb pattern of wrinkles you see in the hides. It is a signature that gives a special look to products made with it. We use Horserump exclusively for our Handmade Service Boots made in Indonesia.
Step Four: Sole Unit Choice and Style
Options include Standard Leather Sole, Closed Channel Leather Sole, Dainite/Vibram Rubber Sole, Leather Sole with Topy, Leather Sole with Metal Toe Plates, and Dr. Sole Rubber Sole (exclusively available for Hand-welted Service Boots Only)
